*Lucid* First Ever

I drove up to a house with Ashley. There were items for sale in the driveway (like a garage sale). Ashley saw this machine that was emitting fog out of the top. She suggested we buy it. I said "no, we don't need it". I went into the house and walked into the kitchen at the rear of the house. In the back right hand side of the kitchen was a bunch of gardening tools laying up against the wall. I started sorting through the tools. It seemed odd that there were garden tools in the kitchen. I got this strange feeling. The garage sale on my front driveway didn't make sense. I looked out the side door, but couldn't see the driveway or the garage sale. Just then, Ashley walked into the kitchen. She was still asking about the item for sale on the driveway. I explained to her that it was an ionic humidifier and we did not need one. I then asked her if she remembered moving out of our apartment into this new house. She looked confused. I then performed a reality check by pushing two fingers through the palm of my hand. As they pushed through I had this nearly overwhelming feeling like being awoken from a dream only to find out the dream wasn't real...but opposite. I had awoken from a dream within a dream. The sensation was pure ecstasy. I took a few deep breaths to calm down. I looked around and Ashley was gone. The nice, new home I was standing in now resembled a shack that had been neglected and could fall over at any moment. I walked out the door to explore. Outside, it was a large city with skyscrapers in the distance. The people were those arm waving, novelty blow up things you see outside liquidation warehouses and used car rentals. I figured I'd try flying. Flying was surreal as I don't remember seeing much other than blue-green grass only inches from my face. But I remember the sensations of wind and vertigo as I changed directions. I landed and walked around for a bit trying to recall the techniques for staying lucid in the dream. The only one I could remember was the reality check. I performed one but it was harder this time. I looked at a very tall skyscraper in the distance and tried to teleport to it. I couldn't. The dream was fading. I tried another reality check. I placed my fingers to my palm and pushed. It was hard. It looked like I was trying to break through a hand made of play dough or silicone. When I broke through, I felt pain. I woke up.
