I’m a fucking idiot

I was at my house with some friends and people I knew and we were just hanging, I was reading my book and they were talking and one by one they come up to me and say “hey, this is a dream” or something along those lines. I laugh and say, “wow, nice try,” and keep reading. Then- “Hey, you do know this is a dream right?” “Someone already tried that one on me, sorry,” I say. A few minutes pass. “You’re dreaming right now...” “Haha, very funny,” I say, kind of annoyed now. “You do realize that this is legitimately a dream.” “You know,” I say, getting really annoyed, “you’re like the fifth person to tell me that. This joke is kind of getting old.” It continued on an on like that. Then I woke up and realized that it was, actually, a dream, and that I was a fucking idiot. I might’ve even had a lucid dream or been able to control my dream if I had actually listened. But who knows.
