My tennis team always books hotels for when we travel to play tournaments. The hotel that was chosen this time for our tournament ended up being a death trap hotel that nobody knew about until they checked in. Once you checked in, it was extremely rare to check out. It was like an elimination game. The first night went ok, but I saw other parties where they took 2 people and they were forced to fight each other to the death in so many ways. One of us had pain medication that we always bring for sore muscles at tournaments but contemplated downing the entire thing to overdose and avoid an extremely painful, brutal death. I don't remember exactly which of the girls this was but I'm gonna guess Kelly. I kept her going though. When we were about to go into the elevators, someone knew about this obstacle and told us that the more movement this elevator sensed, the longer it would trap us in there and wouldn't let us out until the sensor bar went down to like 50. I didnt know exactly what would happen if you never got out, but it was predicted that you'd be eaten alive. So we all positioned ourselves so that we were all lying on the ground, not moving, barely breathing, until it let us out. I was the first the jump out, but when we got out, there was a huge gap in between the elevator and where you step to go outside. So we all had to jump across to not fall off the cliff, and went along with our day. But I realized that Rafa didn't come out with us. I went back to see what was up, and his eyes started glowing, and he told me that this is it, this is how he's going to die, and that he's going to stay inside the elevator until it kills him. I'm trying to convince him to come out and I'm starting to cry but it's not doing anything and he closes the doors. I run back to the rest of the team, eventually back in our living room where we're all getting settled in. Landers sat down and turned the TV on, and it showed a guy on a stationary bike who didn't go fast enough and the back chain plowed through his back, killing him. That same bike lifted out of the ground and under Landers and forced him to play. "I've been caught" and he just goes at it as fast as he can, and fortunately he lasts long enough for it to end, the machine to die down, and for him to survive. I just see him look at us and and take a really deep breath. That was when I asked, "what exactly happens if you stay in the elevator for too long?" And my mom appeared and said that books and tiles start falling from the ceiling and bury you alive under it. So now I'm crying even more because I know Rafa is still in there so I run back because he has a chance to make it out alive, but now when I go back, I hear Shayna's voice inside too. She's talking to Matt in their final moments, and then I see screens next to the elevators showing other parties dying bloody deaths around the rest of the hotel, and then I woke up.
