Cult of the Lightning

Idk why but I joined this school cult thing where we believed that the lightning would strike us and take us to heaven. We all went out there on a rainy day and I was starting to get nervous. My friends didn’t want me to die so they all ran out there to try and find me. Shorty after I spotted Friend #1 in the crowd. I was terrified so I ran up to them and was just hugging them. They seemed uncomfortable, so when I saw Friend #2 and went and hugged them instead. I just stayed hugging them until we got into the building because it was calming me down. We got inside and it was time for Civics class, so I went it there with with my friends. Friend #1 and I were sitting by each other. We had to do something in the text book and they wanted to write something, so they tore out one of the papers. They wrote a note telling someone they liked them. They stood up and handed it to a girl. They got the note back after and ripped it up, all I actually saw of it was a piece that said she didn’t feel the same way.
