We were on a road-trip in Mexico when all of a sudden, I hear gunshots in the streets followed by a volley of missiles. One policeman was telling the cars to get out of the area immediately as the police shot flares up in the sky to intercept the projectiles. As we drove by the chaotic neighborhood, we see a cop being shot to death by mercenaries. His body laid sprawled on the streets in a pool of blood. My dad stepped on the gas pedal to try and avoid the battlefield, when suddenly, a band of revolutionaries step in front of us to block our way. We were all trembling nervously as one of the mercenaries came up to us and told us to get out of the car. As my dad raised his hands and began to make his way out however, a sense of boldness suddenly came over me. “No,” I told the insurgents. “You will let us pass in the name of Jesus.” The partisans then began to laugh and mock me as they unleashed a hail of bullets on us from their automatic weapons, however the shots went right through us! Once the ruffians realized that their firearms had no effect on me and my family, they panicked and fled from us!
