TJ Maxx was opening back up soon and my old boss left a message for me that she wanted me to come in for a 3-7 shift on the day they re-opened to serve as a cashier. I work until 5:30 with my regular job, and I really wanted to come to TJ Maxx to help so I tried to call to let them know I could only work night shifts, but no one picked up because oh yeah, they're still closed. So I showed up, thinking that would somehow work. When I showed up I had actually gone to another old boss's house instead, an attorney I used to work for. He was glad to see me because he needed me to work again, too. He really needed help and I agreed, excited, though nervous now that I had three freaking jobs. He briefly showed me around his place. He had absolutely nothing in his house. It was completely empty, not a single piece of furniture, not a single item. It was unsaid but implied that he got rid of all of his possessions in order to stay sanitary during this pandemic. I felt bad about myself inside because I didn't do the same. Finally he decided it was time to leave with his wife and left me alone in the house. I went upstairs which I now realized was where TJ Maxx was. It was deserted, closed and no employees there. I wandered around until I heard something smash, people were breaking in. I went into a small bedroom and got in the bed, terrified. A man came in and pointed a gun at me, looking fierce and like he truly did not care whether or not I lived or died. I pulled the blankets up over my head so that I didn't have to look anymore. He shot me. He left but I did not die, but I could not move, and the blanket was still over me. Another man came in and tore the blanket off of me and then pointed a bazooka at me.
