Girlfriend Troubles

My girlfriend did something wrong so I confronted her about it. It wasn't huge, she left all the lights on in the house so I just asked her if she could turn them all off instead of wasting electricity. I don't think she really liked me asking her to do that very much. So we then went out for a family gathering with both her family and my family. She disappeared for a while. I then spotted her in her car making out with her ex. Obviously that made me feel devastated! Once she finished both her and her ex started to walk to the room I was in. In a panic I attempted to hide but didn't do a very good job and she spotted me straight away. She just laughed and said "you see us didnt you?" I replied, "I certainly did, you have a good time?" "Yes, and that's what you get! Don't tell me what to do! You can go now, I've proved my point". Her ex then left! And I went back with my girlfriend as I felt I was in the wrong and that was my punishment!
