toothpaste

someone told me that there were two kinds of toothpaste: amine and phaline (idk what these words mean irl they just sound scientific and fancy). amine/phaline toothpastes were for foods with different properties, kind of like acid/base but with different molecules. for example, yams would need amine toothpaste. i didn’t dream of an example for phaline toothpaste. i got a little scared because i thought that i was brushing my teeth inefficiently, and i was annoyed that i had to limit my diet to 50% random foods.
