I lived in some version of The Office. Me and this other girl made this real elaborate plan of how we would steal whatever it was that Michael hide in his super secret vault at the top of his like 50 floor building. The first step of our master plan was to fake a fire so that everyone would evacuate. We even had this other woman get “injured” for us so that everyone would be distracted. Then we made some story about how we had to go back inside to get something very important, and we managed to convince Michael to give us his keys. We rushed in and snuck into his office and dug around his his desk. We didn’t really know what we were looking for but we knew we’d know when we saw it. “It” ended up being a star beaded keychain with a yellow ball on the end that glowed whenever it was touched. We knew it was a key, and necessary for getting into his super secret vault. Discreetly we make our way to the second floor. I’m in charge of carrying the keychain but it glows a ridiculous amount. It shines through my hand when I hold it so I have to roll it under my shirt and then cover it with my arm. Each floor of the building has a different challenge or lock that we have to get through, and I don’t remember exactly what they all were. Some were riddles, some were keypads, just all sorts of stuff. At the very top floor, we’re at the last door, and it says to open it we have to lose precisely 7 collective pounds. There’s a giant scale that we can step on but we take a minute to make our plan first. We’re out of breath and our hearts are pounding because we e never made it this far and we’re just sure someone is going to come stop us soon. There are tons and tons of scales in the room so we figure we’ve got plenty of time to test stuff out. Our solution is to gather giant jugs of water, hold them when we weigh ourselves the first time, then drop them and weigh a second time. We only have one shot on the scale at the door so it needs to be perfect. I’m practicing on the plethora of random scales, but they don’t seem to work very well. They’re completely random, telling me I’m 58 kilos one time, then 22 the next, and just never consistent. I’m suddenly far less confident since I realize we can’t really practice and we have to just estimate. I woke up before we ever actually tried it so I have no idea what Michael was hiding in his super secret vault and I’m very bitter about that.
