Giant head flying planes

I was on the back porch with some of my family and there were these disembodied heads flying old planes that had propellers in the front and no roof on the top. No idea how they were flying without arms but it was freaking me out. My mom was telling me to go in because we’d cause them to crash? Eventually one of the heads whizzed past us and crashed into the nearby gas station, dying.
