I was following Brooks point of view and this whole skeleton crew he finds and makes friends with a while after the straw hats have all died i guess and they seem really perfect because they are all also dead and it was beginning to look like a real family for him again but then they got serious on this job they took and the oldest guy was too serious and it turned out that All the skeletons that seemed to happen to show up and "join the group" were already associated with the oldest guy and basically betrayed Brook bc he felt whatever the job they were doing wasn't right and tried to convince them to not and they went along with him just to trick them and there was nothing he could do
