The Library Abyss

I was in my grandpa Neil's car with my friend and cousin Rainy at the wheel. When we reached a road where the ride down would be too steep, my grandpa ushered Rainy to turn onto a different street. She was already ahead of the road she wanted to turn onto, so she swerved and made a sharp right turn onto it. It was curved and darks and shrouded by thick woods, and everything looked as if I had seen it through night vision goggles. We seemed to be riding down in a spiral. Despite how black, shiny, and newly paved the road appeared, the ride down was very bumpy and Rainy was having trouble staying on the road. After that scene, I suddenly appeared in a narrow room. There were bookshelves carved into the walls to my right and left. There was a large, wooden ladder that was bolted into the floor. The floor was at an incline as well as the walls, meaning the room was on a diagonal. I was on the far end of the ladder that was at the top of the incline. There were dim lights on the slanted ceiling. The ladder was made up of a first and second ladder. The first ladder was the part bolted to the floor. The second ladder was attached the the first and could extend beyond it. When the wheels at the bottom of the second ladder are blocked, the rungs on each ladder would line up exactly. But if the wheels at the bottoms were freed, the second ladder on top would roll across the side rails of the first like a cart on a roller coaster. And that's what happened. The second ladder pierced through the bottom wall to another nearly identical diagonal room, only this room had a ladder. When the top part of the second ladder reached the bottom of the first, the second ladder was prevented from going further. This extremely abrupt stop propelled me through the bottom wall of the second room, leading me to a third room with another extendable ladder. I gripped that ladder tightly, the bottom wheels were released on that one too. This same thing happened a number of times. I finally escaped when I fell through a wall that led me to a metallic platform. Rainy and my grandpa were there. To my left the platform ended with no barrier whatsoever. No fencing or railings. To each side of the left side of the platform, bookshelves extended outwards and were joined by a third bookshelf. But if one were to walk off the platform, they'd fall into an abyss. The giant bookshelves were infinitely tall and rose from infinite darkness. A librarian was putting books away. She was on a tall ladder that reached from to black abyss into the dim light with no origin that surrounded the shelves. "Hi!" "Shh!" Her shush echoed through the area. I decided not to bother her. To my right was a cement wall with two iron doors in the center. They lead to a dirty bathroom and a dark hallway. In front of me was an exit. Beyond it looked bright. Eventually we heard a group of people come from the iron doors and leaved. I assumed two things: these people were employees and the library was closing. I suggested leaving to Rainy and my grandpa and they agreed. Just then, the metal platform turned to hardwood. It was slippery, as if it had just been waxed. I was afraid of slipping and falling into the abyss, but fortunately that didn't happen. I eventually reached a light and cheery room that looked like a restaurant. In one corner, there was this thing that looked like a big glass shower. Water was running along the insides of the glass. I put my shoes in there and head back to Rainy and my grandpa. They were sitting at a table, and had already ordered some spaghetti. Mine was spilt all over the floor. I said, "I hope I didn't spill that, and by I I mean Rainy." The waitress told us somebody needs to clean it up. Rainy looks to me. I refuse and begin arguing with her.
