I was in a park with my brother and some friends. We were playing basketball and the kids were playing on the playground. There were two shotguns on a table and we stopped for shooting targets. It seemed perfectly normal. We put the guns down and it still amazed me how shotguns were just laying around where children were playing. I was checking one out and looking for the safety. At the distance I heard a car revving it’s engine. My brother took notice, grabbed a box of shells and the gun a started running as if looking for someone. I ran after him to stop him before he did anything crazy but I wasn’t able to keep up. I just sat by the sidewalk waiting to hear the shots and sad of what would become of him if he killed somebody.
