Tower on Rails

I was out and about in a big city with my girlfriend, my father and my sister. On our way back my sister really wanted to take a rather special train she had heard about. The train soon arrived and we boarded. I didn't know what made this train special, but I was about to find out as the others took a seat. It was a lot more luxurious than your regular train. Pretty lighting, roomy leather seats and staff walked around with drinks and snacks, there was even a little music band passing the cabins, although I thought they were somewhat annoying. The further I wandered the more apparent the uniqueness of the train became. I entered some sort of hall. I looked up and watched in awe, as I could see balconies, multiple stories high, on top of eachother. The ceiling looked to be about 50 meters high. Incredible! This surely was more of a castle or an opera house than a train. I was amazed by how it managed to take us from A to B. I stumbled upon a video about the train at an information stand. I did not get a good look of the exterior of the train. Not in the video, nor when boarding, because the train entered the station in a tunnel-like platform, only exposing the doors in order to get in. It could have been a massive tower on wheels, or a House-of-Leaves-esce train with magical properties. The video did show something else though. The traintracks, which resembled a rollercoastertrack rather than actual rails. It swerved trough the city of London, to which this train was exclusive apperently. It looked like a pretty wild and fast ride, yet I experienced it as smooth sailing. I remember wondering how the passengers could drink their cocktails without spilling, because at certain points the track would almost be completely upside down.
