Writing Contest, I Don't Want a New Dog or a New Boyfriend

1: I found a writing contest online offering prizes. I had to pick a topic fast though, and the one I was reading over was asking for a story about rabbits. I didn't know enough about them though and started to despair. I had to keep reminding myself that there were other topics to choose from that I hadn't even looked at yet. 2: My parents bought me big brown shaggy dog. It bonded with me instantly and I got upset with them because I'm allergic to dogs and am too busy to keep one. I tried hugging on it and walking it to keep it happy, but the more I did these things the more it bonded to me and I knew I couldn't keep it. A man appeared in this dream, wanting to date me. My family encouraged this and I kept seeing him even though I didn't really want to. He was older and too harsh and serious and I was happy anyway with Jeff. Finally he gave up and started dating my sister instead and I felt relieved.
