Olympia and 3 Personal Trainers

I go to Olympia to meet with my personal trainer. I see him at the front door and we walk together toward the area of the gym where he will be training me. I am astonished at how the gym looks. It’s nothing like how it really looks, and I’m so stunned I realize that I always see this place like this when I dream. It’s different than reality, but always consistent in how it looks when I’m dreaming (I knew then I was dreaming, but let things unfold). We walk outside, and along a narrow path. Unlike in the real world, this path is at the edge of a body of water. A lake? A stream? Not sure. I think it’s a lake, but the water is still some distance below. I’m walking with Corey, on his right side, right next to the ledge. He’s happily chatting away, but I couldn’t tell you what he said, because I’m too focused on being by the ledge and wondering if it can support us and the people walking behind us. I bolt out ahead of him a few feet, but instead of teasing me about such a choice, he seems a little hurt. Maybe I should have paid more attention to what he was saying and then I would understand why he seemed hurt by my actions. When we get around a bend, I put my hand on his upper arm, and I point with the other hand toward where we had just been, he sees the reinforcements under the building and the lack of them along the path. I say, “it was an irrational fear of heights and falling, so I couldn’t be logical about it. I couldn’t trust that maybe I could grab your arm and you’d pull me back, and maybe I’d even pull you down with me. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings, but it was not a situation where I could be logical. Actually it was very irrational with some logical thinking underlying it, as you can see” he says he understands and says he didn’t see what I saw until I pointed it out, and that he would have done the same had he known. We are at the bottom, and now I have to wait for a boat to get to the other side. He decides to swim, and tells me he will see me on the other side. The boat isn’t big enough for both of us, and I cannot swim. He disappears, and after a little bit, A lady brings me a boat, a tiny little boat big enough for me. Before she arrives I enjoy the feeling of mud between my toes. I row to the other side, and when I enter that part of the gym (that looks absolutely unlike reality), into a space that looks like a locker room. I see my former intern, X. I’m so surprised to see him. I ask him why he’s there, and he tells me he’s a personal trainer. I’m surprisEd because he only likes running. He is not a person who lifts weights. I tell him I’m there to work with my trainer. He tells me he just came back from a swim and is taking a shower to get the lake water off. I say goodbye after a little bit, and find Riley from Guitar Center. He’s also working here as a personal trainer, we chat and then I follow him into a kitchen area. There i see Corey with a big plate of very cheesy pasta and a piece of crusty bread. I don’t want to disturb his meal, nor do I want to be rude and ask when we will be training, though we should have started 10 minutes ago. He seems a little distant. Maybe he said it was okay when it wasn’t. I tell him I will let him eat, that I will meet him downstairs, and I head even further, deeper into the gym downstairs. I find some weights and try to decide how I will warm up.
