We were (Imani and Me) downtown Detroit and she was driving. We was looking for the parking entrance to this one building. I forget why we wanted to go there, but anyways she had missing the car entrance and decided to just park somewhere else instead. After parking the car we walked to this garage looking holding center for motor bikes. She decide that riding the Motor bikes would be fun. So she rented one out. In the garage with us was a random white lady and her two dogs. She giggle still keeping her head down as Imani grab a safety jacket and hat. The safety jacket looked like a crossing guard vest with a matching Hat. I grab one behind her and processed to walk toward the bike. Thinking we'd share a bike, but that wasn't the case she quickly drove off on her bike i ran behind trying to follow. Later i realized the bikes was a one seater.. "but i'm tiny" i thought i stop chasing after her "we could totally fit on the bike together." Once she realized i was no longer running behind she turned around. We decide to go back get another bike for me since they actually were fun. Approaching the motor bike rental place we saw that the Lady had put her gate up and let dogs out, which was an indication that we weren't gona be able to get a second bike or even return the one bike we had. The dog were barking too viciously for us to attempt to approach the gate. So we just left the bike were stood and turned around to walk away. She told me she still wanted to spend more time together. She invited me to come stay the night at her house. I was secretly in joy and shock so i asked if she was for real and her response was "I would want you to, i do wana spend more time with you, but of course you can't actually stay the night." ..She decided that were could go and meet some of her friends. I figured that this walk to our destination would be the perfect time for us to finally have "That" conversation since it's been on my mind the whole time. But as i was going to start the conversation we heard something running up in the background. We looked to see the lady's two dogs running for us. I started to run, but notice Imani wasn't in motion to run, she was standing her ground so i did the same. "They won't chase you if you don't run." she said as the two dogs came closer. i agreed with a quick head nod and turned around to face the dogs "What are you doing?" she asked and i didn't say anything as i crouched lower to the ground. The first of the two dogs jump up to attack (a blackish grey and white pitbull with a black nose and white teeth) i grabbed him mid air and punched him directly in the nose. The other dog (bigger yellowish gold colored pit mixed) didnt make an attack move after that. Scene changed and we had finally met up with her friends. Two boys one black, one white, and a girl young black girl, i recognized as her bestfriend. Arranged in a circle from left to right they sat, her bestfriend, the black boy who i now think may have been her cousin, then the white boy. I sat down next to her bestfriend and she sat in between the two boys. We made some small talk for a while until i started to get this awkward feeling. i stood up and sat in between Imani and her cousin. Knowing my being there was the reason for the awkwardness among the group, i decided to officially introduce myself. Giving them my name that's when it kicked me in the head why things had became awkward. They realized who i actually was as i realized who the white boy actually was.. Me? the old lover, Him the new boyfriend. I still shook everyones hand politely and ensured that i was no trouble here.. Scene changed after the leaving the group me and her went to a small restaurant to eat probably. Instead we just sat and talked.. She was wearing this black eye shadow (goth style) around her eyes and her hair was in a wash and go style. It bounced everytime she made a sudden move. The black eye shadow made the brown of eyes pop, she was mesmerizing.. I knew now was the time.. She said was with him now and said it was confidence, but her eyes looked away. We acknowledge that we still loved eachother, but she felt different about me now.. She said that with confidence as well, but her eyes still looked away.. I couldnt bear this imaginary conversation any longer so i woke up.
