space war

I was up in a spaceship above earth. A female commander was briefing soldiers about a race of white mutant fish people who were about to reach the shore of a major city. I was one of the soldiers and I was feeling a bit nervous and excited. They started launching us one at a time down through the atmosphere. I flew downward as I re routed myself to the drop zone which was a semi swampy beach. I land in the water and was instantly terrified that they would grab me in the water so I swam as fast as I could to the shore. I began firing in the open water and striking a few of them but when I looked around I saw I was surrounded so I ran back in to the forest where I got into a one on one fight with one of them. He ended up killing me and I was sent back to the ship. When I was sent back down the humans had the upper hand and it a struggle to even find a living water mutant to shoot, so I went and talked to one of the experienced soldiers. He said that he was through with this war in a solemn way.
