leaving and returning?

This one happened a while back. A friend of mine (who at this time I was in love with) was with me at church. We were sitting there together when the preacher walked over and lead Matthew away. He after some time (about 10 mins irl) his shirt had changed from black to blue and he was carrying a bible.
