I Don’t Know

I was sent to a sort of prison and met strange people that I can only imagine finding in a book. I escaped because I was scared for my life and sought safety with my family. I didn’t know their was a poltergeist guarding the prison that tracked and killed anyone that escaped. It was invisible but you could feel when it was there. I watched it take my parents and sister and ran as far away as I could. I ended up at a tree line outside the prison with another girl that ended up being the monster’s daughter. I begged her to help me but she just looked at me with pity. I felt it’s hands grab my neck and tears ran down my face. I woke up after that.
