Wild Shape

Dreamed about seeing a mountain lion with a long white horse-type mane who lived in a mountain valley type of place near a town. He turned out to be a guy (same hair, but sideshaved) who could wildshape into animals but didn't have very good control over when it happened or over himself while in animal form. We were taking phone videos trying to get proof the whole time. We (me and some friends that my dream invented) managed to meet him and were trying to find some way to help him. He was weird from isolation and a life of strictly survival, tried to steal some money and someones phone, but the more he trusted us the less he felt like he had to steal. We were making progress helping him learn to trust us and investigating how we could help him get control over his wildshape. While in cougar form he got too happy/excited like a dog would, and accidentally clawed into my legs. He was super sad about it while my friends helped fix the wounds, and he left shortly after. In the end he dipped, but sent me a phone video he had taken of him shape-shifting, the clearest proof recorded. We didn't expose him, just kept the video as a wholesome reminder of the great leap of progress it showed for his control. The feeling at the end of the dream was that we would keep meeting him again.
