Being a Bad Friend

So I'm going round a friends for the first time since I've known her, as her mom is very picky about who she let's come to the house. So obviously I'm excited (this is happening today in real life). However, in the dream I go off on a cruise with my "boyfriend" who happens to look like Bart Simpson (we don't do anything weird don't worry) and I meant to tell my friend that I wasn't coming. But I forgot. I wasn't supposed to be going on the cruise, but I got caught by my family and I came back early. When I come back, I realise that I forgot to tell my friend I wasn't going. I tried texting her but for some reason I just couldn't spell and get the words out. Then, said friend knocks on my door with her dad behind her. she comes in, acting calm and just disappointed. I'm trying to apologise because I know I fucked up. That's when the dream ended.
