hypnagogic +bit of dream

In a car, in the back seat. we all rushed to get in before the old woman sees us. i am in the back seat on the right side. the obviously wealthy old woman is pressed against the window shouting and angry at the person on the other side of the car, but that person quickly slips inside and shuts the door. the woman is angry. the person next to me is someone i know, but i dont know who it is. i can’t see their face. red pattern moving. in the middle an ape using a sledgehammer, repeatedly and rhythmically swinging and hitting. like trying to break a big rock. he is red too. the whole thing is just red. switches to silvery, tinselly, christmassy. just flowing, lovely silver. but there is a pattern of openings through which i get glimpses of a scene behind it. but cant quite make it out.
