I am in a shop downtown and I want to buy a nice pillow mist. A saleswoman comes to help me and selects some of their fragrances for me to smell them. There are several bottles lined up on one of the extremely cluttered shelves, along with samples in the form of a balm in a metallic box. I smell them one by one, the physical sensations are very vivid. I can smell the perfume of the balm, feel the flat round-shaped box in my hand, and even imagine the texture of the butter. My favourite one, surprisingly, is the musk pillow mist. I ask the cashier right next to me if she thinks it would be relaxing enough on a pillow, and she tells me that it is her favourite too, and that it helps her to fall asleep. I decide to buy the bottle, but I realise the price of this small thing is exorbitant, maybe 26€... I then select all the least expensive mists, which cost 10€ each, and smell them again one by one. I feel sorry for the saleswoman who tried to guide me at first, but I can't afford such an expensive pillow fragrance. I eventually chose the lemon scent, fresh and classic. When I go through the checkout, I apologise for not having chosen the musk one, explaining it is too expensive for me.
