I was back in the Bronx, walking along Lydig Avenue shopping blocks. I had to use the bathroom and needed to find a convenient place that’ll let me go. There was an Asian-owned thrift store that had a bathroom in the back, open to customers only. I can pretend to be a customer and then go there. I had a bra and panties in my hand. On my way in, I put them in my bag, so I wouldn’t be accused of shoplifting. A lady had a shopping wagon in my way. I didn’t say anything, but stood and waited for her to move it. She apologized, and I smiled saying it was okay. Someone was looking through a large section of bedding or window drapes. They were all with a sky blue colored background and different scenes on them. I paused and inspected them with her, picking one up, then putting it back down again. Had to remember my mission: and continued making my way toward the bathroom in the back. The back room had very few patrons. It had jewelry and not much else. It was pretty sparse. I remembered sometimes they had nice earrings. This time, there was nothing spectacular that stood out. Bingo! There’s the unoccupied bathroom. I debated if I should go or make a purchase first. Dream ends.
