Owls in the Mountains

I went on a trip with my parents and sister in which we stayed in a log cabin up high in the mountains in some state north of home. Maybe the tip of NC or somewhere in KY. There were lots of trees in summer greenery below us and a quiet river. My fiance wasn't with us and I missed him. I tried taking some good pictures of flowers and of the river. We were far out in the middle of nowhere. My dad got the best picture though. It was of an enormous cluster of barn owls, the size of a school of fish or migrating sparrows, but it was barn owls with their strange white mask faces flying around in unison. I was amazed and thought this was something most people never saw.
