Breaking up and crossing a lake

I was traveling and I had to swim across this huge lake to get to the city we were going to for some reason. Jeremy broke up with me and I was very sad, he didn’t fully break up with me, he said we need a break or whatever. I called him after not talking for 3 days and I was excited to talk to him but he was standoffish and didn’t want to talk. I was sad and asked him if he’s breaking up with me but he wouldn’t give me a straight answer. Also Gavin was there briefly but I don’t remember much and so was Jeremy’s mom. She came over and told me she needed to talk to me specifically. We sat down and she looked like she was about to cry, but she always manipulated people by guilt tripping them and crying so I spoke up before she could say anything and told her that everything I said to her I meant. I never insulted her and put her down, I simply told her she wasn’t welcome in my house if she was going to act the way she was acting. She was actually agreeing with me which would never happen in real life.
