Church Visit

I went to check out a beautiful old church in the city. I was told it was completed in the 1700s but it seemed much older. There were lots of children with their parents inside and outside, for communion or confirmation. Journalists were also there. Somehow it was a big deal. I walked around inside, admiring the architecture. Trying to get a feel of the place, which was oozing with history. I found a hallway that had many framed photos on the walls, some of which showed past presidents and leaders visiting the church. Finally I stepped outside. It was a sunny day, but windy and cold. Next to the church was a garden with several large statues of angels, saints and there were also statues of Lucifer's fall. I was most drawn towards a large angel, with his wings spread out. Beside him was a spruce tree, with frosted leaves. I saw Archangel Michael intertwined with dragon-like Satan, locked in a struggle. I was amazed. Then I left the garden and the church grounds, climbed a hill and looked back again. It was starting to snow.
