Weird birthday presents

Courtney was over at moms house with me for my birthday. Also in attendance were some random unknown people, Shannon and mom. There were cards and a gift bag from Court on the dining room table. Everyone was gathered around to watch me open the presents from her, since no one else brought me anything haha. It was a big deal apparently and i'm kind of nervous thinking it might be something inapprop. but its all in good fun. I looked in the first bag and there was a huge pile of Cub scout neckerchiefs, some random stickers and a bunch of odd t-shirts. the weirdest shirt though, and the only one that i can clearly remember was some sort of commemorative or anniversary shirt in honor of a FAILED underwater nuclear test off the coast of Hawaii somewhere (totally fictional as far as i know). The picture on shirt was literally just some beach and water with some little cartoon bubbles wafting out of the surface of water with a "bloop bloop bloop" sound implied as it just fissled out. It was a light blue color and TRIPLE XL size, which made it even more hilarious.... a random way too big t shirt of a failed weapon test.. i was cracking up and saying "classic Courtney" etc, but of course everyone else thought it was just weird and didn't get it. I had to explain that "we have a special sense of humor that you guys just wouldn't understand". I immediately put the shirt on, and even though it was pretty much down to my ankles I excitedly announced to the room that it was no problem because "I'll wash it and it will totally shrink right up".
