Voyager Probe Epic Fail

I was a scientist at NASA working on the Voyager 1 probe and I found a problem. It was the modern day and we hadn’t heard anything from the probe. I explained what I found to my fellow scientist. He then said, “So you’re telling me we spent hundreds of millions of dollars researching and developing this thing, hundreds of millions of dollars more to launch it, waited over 45 years to hear something from it yet hearing not a peep at all... because this whole time it’s transmission antenna was facing THE WRONG DIRECTION??!?!?!!”
