In the hotel by the sea

I'm sitting at a kitchen island in a girl by the sea. I debate when I'm have off from work since my job doesn't guarantee that. I walk back and forth to the cabinets, thinking. They're white. I will have to move into an apartment soon. Lucas is still sharing it with me. In tell him, excited, that we can still cook the same food as always. In fact, I wonder why I haven't done that recently. I reconcile that he's been working a lot. He's not the person I really want to live with, but it's comfortable enough. I think about visiting new jersey in their summer for three weeks or so. I'll miss manu, but I'll get along well enough. I'll have my mom and my sister. It feels like a period of transition.
