Zombie apocalypse

The setting took place in a large high school. An apparent zombie apocalypse had infected both a portion of the students and general population. I was among the group of uninfected humans. We frantically ran throughout the building, even the large underground basement. Every barrier and locked door was destroyed by the zombies. Eventually we were cornered. The only methods of survival were a) Attack with machine guns b) Play dead. I decided to attack once I realized that the zombies were more aware of the second tactic. Many of us died but I managed to kill several. I do not remember how it ends.
