I am in a field with a fence. There is a small ditch dug under the fence. With a shovel, I clear a path for water to run under the fence and into the ditch. The ditch fills with water and becomes a stream. More form and the fields become wetlands. I start walking to higher ground as the water gets stronger. At the higher ground, I start climbing a rocky hill. There are other tourists. Looking back, the valley is now underwater. I keep clean moving in a relaxed manner. The water keeps rising. Now I’m climbing the side of a building, and then through the inside of a wall. There are missiles being fired from either side of the fence. Eventually, I’m approaching the top of the world as the waters continue to rise. I’m in a car with my father. I turn on the radio. There are houses lined on the tips of mountains. Later, in a second dream, I am telling this story to someone else. We design a board game based on the dream. Players climb along an array of points connected by lines. A “speed token” lets you take two moves in a turn. A “strength token” lets you follow a special line as a shortcut. Two players cannot pass through one another. Water rises, as indicated by a clear blue piece of plastic that is slid up along the game board.
