I had an awful dream, to be honest. To some people, it’s not that bad... but for me, it felt like torture. I just wanted it to end. I was back in middle school, with students I used to go to school with. My childhood crush was there too, looking charming and whatnot. Here’s the catch though: it was in my dad’s LIVINGROOM. The CLASSROOM was dad’s LIVINGROOM. Considering how stressed I was, I think I did pretty well. The teacher kept approving of my work and subtly praising me. Now that I think about it, I think the teacher was actually my fourth grade teacher from elementary school, who we called Mrs. Eichelberger. Anyway, some of the students were really acting up and not listening to the lessons or videos that were being played on the smartboard. It was beginning to piss me off big time, but I managed to keep quiet. I interacted with them here and there, but not so much that it became disruptive. My childhood crush and I kept glancing at each other. He was looking at me in a way that gave me small butterflies. Then, of course... My ex best friend is there, misbehaving and not doing what the teacher said we were supposed to do. It was an absolute catastrophe. When the teacher finally called her out in front of the class and chastised her for her actions, she started CRYING and talking back. It was this long whine about how arduous it is to live the life she’s living, and all this other edgy stuff that one or two of the students kept agreeing to. It made me even angrier, but even so, I stayed quiet. The teacher seemed unfazed. It’s not that I lack empathy, because I believe I will always care for my ex best friend... but the way she was acting was just so disrespectful, in my humble opinion. I don’t remember the rest, but I do remember the conversation getting extremely deep and dark. Some of the students looked suicidal, to be completely honest. Even I got choked up at one point. Oh, and I remember Hunter being there too. Interesting. At least he was doing his work alongside me, at my dad’s dining room table. .: translation :.
