I had a crush on (the late British comic actor) Rik Mayall and I went to all his live shows and collected his autographs & other memorabilia. Eventually he became aware of my feelings. At first he didn't react but later told me something one of his children said about me. I was disheartened and stopped going to his shows. . . . . . I was tidying up and found a story I had written longhand many years earlier, supposedly for my father. I decided to print it out neatly in a bound book and give it to Rik as proof of my devotion. He took my phone away as punishment for lowkey stalking him. When I got it back he'd changed all the camera settings.
