The workplace purge

I had a dream that I was sitting at my desk at work. It was the last day of work before Christmas break and it was nearing the end of the day. I was watching people excitedly walk by on their way to the employee exit. Suddenly the president of the company spoke over the PA system, I only vaguely remember what he said, but he was wishing everyone a happy holiday and thanking people for working so hard all year. He suddenly said that as a treat, he was allowing a workplace purge inspired by the movies. He basically said that we can do whatever we want to anybody that we had beef with all year without consequence. The alarm sounded just like in the movies and then the whole building broke into chaos. People were fighting their bosses and stabbing each other. One guy was running around with his shirt off, his tie around his head, and black face paint under his eyes. I wanted no part of this, so I ran outside and hid in a tree...Idk why I didn't just get in my car and leave. Somebody walking by spotted me in the tree and pointed at me ominously with a mischievous grin and then I think the dream ended.
