At the party

I was at a party. At the dining space the tables were arranged with high stools and the food was laid out in a buffet arrangement. Amitava and other family people were there too. We chose a table and settled in. Then I went to get my food. While going for the food, a particular loud and big person, probably intoxicated was pushing me around. At times I was dashed against the tableware and crockery fell and a racket was created. I kept dodging and moving on but he kept bullying me. Then I pushed him aside and shouted at him (not exactly shouted but loudly protested) told him to mind his behaviour. He backout out but hung around, observing me. He then offered me a glass of water in a conciliatory gesture though still looking foolish and drunk. I ignored him , rescinded his friendliness and moved on.
