missed a field trip

I was in a grocery store getting on last item for a field trip. Unfortunately I was late and missed the bus as it pulled out of the driveway. One other person misses it and flagged it down to pick us up. The bus didn't see me however and left after picking up one person. I followed behind after the bus, walking on the snowy road.
