Something was happening within society, I’m not sure what it was but I think it resembled a war. Anyway, a bunch of men were becoming soldiers, I think, and one of them was my dad. There was a type of ceremony where they all huddled into this huge, steel elevator. However, someone lit the elevator on fire and killed everyone inside. I yelled at the person who did it, who was this cocky man, and he didn’t even seem to care. He thought it was funny. I was walking around, and everything looked man-made. There were no signs of nature. Everything was industrial and dusty. The air was not clean. I met up with my friend Ashley and she saw me in tears. She thought I was stressed about a decision or something, as I usually call her for help when I have tough decisions, but I explained that my dad died. Somehow I knew my sister was dead too. I was debating just leaving the city to explore elsewhere, but I knew my mom needed me. Before seeing her, I found some friends, who I don’t know in real life. It was a boy and a girl, and we found a van. We were determined to leave the city, which was corrupt. We were driving in a van through this snowy oasis with huge pine trees and icy waterfalls. It was really pretty. The girl had really good driving skills and kept going on reverse. My dad showed up and said that he actually lived. I was so relieved and we were going to take him to my mom. Suddenly, I was Gon from Hunter x Hunter, and the people around me turned in Killia, Leorio, and Karapika. We were following Hisoka to this place in the snowy oasis. He led us to this dangerous guy’s lair, where he would give people challenges. If the challenge was lost, the person would be killed by being left in a room of rising, boiling water. I don’t remember the challenge exactly, but Hisoka said if we wanted to follow him we had to pass the challenge. I remember Karapika coming up with a strategy involving pillows. We passed the challenge and were led into a dark room of regular water. We would swim through it to leave. My mom appeared and I asked her if I could travel with Killua. I told her I would return, and she said that was okay since my dad was alive. The dream changed, and I was in this super upbeat city. It was full of teenagers and young adults partying. It seemed like a really dangerous, dark place, and I didn’t want to be there. I was following my friends from college. We passed haunted houses and such along the way (we also played a game where we named a Victorious character with every letter of the alphabet and found something around us that began with that same letter of the alphabet). We entered a house party and headed to the basement. It was this preppy girl’s house, and she had a lot of cats. I found this one newborn kitten who was so small and fragile. She was shaking, and was not being taken care of. I picked her up and held her in my arms. Eventually, the girl came back down, and with a friend of mine, they gave me a box. The box had these papers in it that were stacked into layers. I removed the layers to find a message. The box essentially told me that I needed to try harder and challenge myself. I thanked the girl for the box and then advised her to take better care of her cats. I remember visiting an old digital media teacher after that, and I felt so bad for him because he had gotten older. His hands shook and his students didn’t like him. I also remember going to a Christmas dinner with the President of my college. The students were so mad about how he handled COVID that they all got up and left the dinner. The President was so sad that we left and it was kind of heartbreaking.
