Caged in the underworld

I visited some public place that was somewhat secluded, and a portion of it was a library. I found a mysterious book to read, and it told about a girl who was a ghost who would terrify to people with whom she came in contact. Later, I found out the book was a true story and the ghost resided in this public place. There was a man who took pictures with a digital camera everywhere, and sometimes the ghost would show up in the pictures. She was small with black hair and blue eyes, and she looked evil. Once I watched this camera man being chased out from underground. He had been in a basement or a cellar, but the door was outside. When he finally emerged, he was killed or possessed by the ghost. I went into the basement next, because something was telling me that I had already seen this before and I knew nothing bad would happen. There were several black gates used as doors. When I knew something was about to happen, one by one all the gates started closing. I was being boxed in. The gates were rusty. I sat against a wall as every gate continued closing. I was becoming claustrophobic and more frightened. When all the gates were closed, I watch a water hose turn on. Then it started moving forward and it was stuck through the bars in a gate directly in front of me. Water started leaking out into the room with me. I didn't know what was going to happen. Finally I think I understood that the ghost might not even know that I was there, so I tried to stay motionless and quiet. Eventually I saw a woman who looked like a younger version of my mom. She had some kind of friendly relationship with this ghost. I changed positions slightly, and that's when this woman saw where I was. She immediately knew my name. After doing some more tasks she sat down next to me, looking somewhat ashamed. I knew she was working for this ghost, but I couldn't understand why. when the woman finally spoke, she was trying to justify the ghost to me. She wanted to defend her. I finally relaxed when i didn't think she intended to harm me.
