Prep for Cold

G has a clear plastic kitchen garbage bag filled loosely with ice cubes. He is securing it around his stomach, tucking it into his work pants, tugging his hi-vis orange shirt over and down. He explains that "they say" the ice will prepare his body better for working outside all day. Whatever. I'm not going to engage. I'm going back to sleep.
