I was walking near campus when I got splashed by some sprinklers. An old man saw me and shared some wise words to taunt me. Don't know what he said because I was annoyed and continued walking. My vision got dark and I rubbed my eyes but it kept getting worse. Then I couldn't see at all. I had both hands on my face and I felt like there was tape around my eyes. I heard someone walking up behind me and a dog too. I ripped one of the pieces of tape, releasing an eye to see a shaggy dog and a petite young lady caring a rather chunky baby. Moved away from the sidewalk to remove the last bit of tape from my eyes. Also didn't want to get in the stranger's way. Couldn't help but wonder what I looked like — a crazed lunatic dripping from head to toe no doubt while scratching at his face. I walked on grass as I got the last bit of tape off my eyes. The dog, despite my effort to avoid it, walked up to me. He was matted all over and sniffing the hell out of me. I heard voices and his owner approached, still carrying the giant baby. We exchanged words and but she spoke for most of the time. I think her name was Mary. She was short but had a big head with long black hair. I think she was mix (Asian and something). It was one of the things she talked about. She spoke fast like a radio host or rapper idk. A lot of trauma dumping too. Like her father abandoned her, then her ex left and now she was a single mom. The three of us plus the dog walked together. This time I was carrying the baby who slippery and difficult to hold. His mother spilled a lot of her personal information as we walked. Some stuff about her father and her ex, the baby daddy. Anyway I listened but mainly focused on the kid I was holding. I got a feeling something bad was going to happen and without a second later, there was an explosion in the distance, and the baby stopped breathing. Courage the cowardly dog legged it. I shouted to call 911 but the poor fella was going blue. I started giving him CPR but I didn't know what I was doing. After just 10 seconds I hear gasps of air flowing in and out of the baby's mouth. What a relief, he was okay. I felt like a hero but the mom was gone. Maybe to get some help?
