out of body

This is a re-occurring dream that I've had since I was young, my mom also has this dream. So I'm sleeping in my dream and then all of a sudden I feel myself getting light and going up into the air, but I'm looking down on myself as I'm sleeping. I'm flying in the air and at first this is fun and I can explore my house, but once I'm done and want to re-enter my body I am not able to because I cannot get down! I never re-enter my body until I wake myself up or wake up for the day.
