The dream started off in a large conference center that was several stories tall. In the middle of the building there was a big pool of water a few feet deep and in the pool there were little sitting areas like lily pads floating in a pond. Tons of people gathered around the water and on these sitting stones. My friend and I approached the water to see what everyone was up to. It seemed kind of like a party or speed dating. We decide the best way to get noticed is to get in the water and walk across. After a few girls climbed in we walk in ourselves, only being knee deep. As we walk further across the water gets deeper like a shallow pool so I swim under the surface. I needed to escape the voices and eyes of the crowd. As I swim around I see the legs of all the people in the water and hear muffled voices as people converse above the surface. I see someone through the water that draws my attention so I surface and say hi. She was beautiful with dark brown hair, a slender but curvy body, and dark mysterious eyes. We start talking and flirting and I kiss her a little. We slip around the corner to be by ourselves. She was so gorgeous I get aroused and pick her up pressing her against the wall. She runs her hands through my hair as we kiss but I think she wasn’t ready to move so fast and I blew it. That’s not normally like me I kept thinking. I screwed my shot with the perfect girl. She was nice about it but rejoins her friends and so I get a drink with the other rejects at the bar. Valet brings my car keys and the check but I’m not done yet. I don’t want to leave yet. I want to start over with her and get to know her. I see her glances and smiles over here like she’s still thinking about me. I decide I have to go talk to her again. I have to know her. I start walking to her when... My roommate rages at his computer game IRL and I wake up.... Shes gone. A faded memory in a dream I’ll never revisit. Guess it wasn’t meant to be.
