Second Life

It was the end of the world and they were trying to rid of the population. We were known as 1st generation and the next generation would rise after the 1st generation is wiped out. The universe’s plan was to dissolve of any living being in planet earth. Once the time was very close to the end, the earth’s ground split open in different areas of the planet. With the bottom looking like an abyss. Some fell involuntarily, some tried hard to stay on the ground from falling, while some already expected the outcome to be doomed and accepted fate by just falling in the abyss voluntarily. You’d think that the bottom of the abyss would lead you to the same outcome as being wiped away from the earth; however, it took you to a sandy and rocky place considered as a ‘safe ground’ where it sheltered people that were of the 1st generation to keep them safe during the wipeout. Once the wipeout has been complete, those in the ‘safe ground’ could then survive until they can come up to join the next generation of the population. I suppose, this would be considered as a second life.
