murder/horror movie

i don’t remember much, but i remember taking care of these peoples dogs and i had to ship them back to where they were within a day of that makes sense; they were this middle aged couple who lived in a sort of wooden cottage house that had secret pathways and library’s everywhere. the night before they left i went into their house with them to watch the new horror movie that was out, i think it was called “the hidden” or something i’m not sure; basically the story was about a couple that started off as a loving pair of well loved people, soon the husband started getting abusive and their daughters were scared of him. we finished watching the movie and then all of a sudden the husband started saying and acting the things that the man in the movie was doing; he would get up and walk around with wide eyes just staring st us, later his two daughters came out; one always wore purple and the other always wore white, the daughter wearing purple was the oldest, the one wearing white had a slight disability which wasn’t really pertinent but she did scream a lot in the dream. we all were having a nice chat and then the dad went to put the girls to sleep, the girl in white cane out screaming and crying while dragging out her sisters mattress with her on it, the other sister sat up and said that she was just sleeping so there’s no need to worry. the dad disappeared for a while and he came back with a little red patch on his shoulder and some in his fingernails, me and his wife looked at each other and we said that we’re going to have a girl chat in the library; we walked to the library quick enough for him to not think it was suspicious. we started frantically looking around for an exit but there wasn’t any that led outside, there was one into the girls room so we opened it quietly and sure enough there was blood everywhere and the girls’ bodies were laying there with their limbs detached, eyes out, teeth half there and a giant cross through their abdomen. we both tried not to scream and cry, it was pretty silent. in the movie that was the way the girls were found in the exact same manor. we heard him come close to the door, he didn’t knock we just heard footsteps and he was obviously listening to our conversation, i started talking about the dogs and we were having a ‘nice’ chat, he came in silently, we both went quiet and we didn’t speak. we could hear his footsteps going all different directions looking for us, luckily there was an underground library so we hit play on the radio and played the radio station full blast so it was hard for him to hear where we were going. he started yelling for us to come to him but we were down stairs, i cane across a book with the same title as the movie, i read the back cover and it was the same storyline. i was trying to google what happened in the movie but my fingers kept on going to different letters so it wouldn’t register properly, soon enough he came downstairs and did the same to the wife. i found an escape but i remember at the end silently sitting on a carnival ride that was really high off the ground and just being traumatised by what i had just seen.
