In today's dream I was playing some jrpg where my character is training to be a great ninja master. It has the look and feel of Naruto but seems to be something different. For one the background art and animation are much more detailed and really beautiful. I imagine if Naruto got a high budget movie this is what it'd look like. I would take control of my character and go wandering into the mostly desert overworld where I'd occasionally run into enemy ninja and be prompted to fight. The battle sequences were so unique because everything was very dynamic and felt like I was watching a film or an anime episode. There were no quick time events that I remember seeing either so this was all based on combos that you would put in. My fight with this ninja extended to where this old abandoned castle was that had a big water fountain at its base, or at least what I thought was a water fountain until I got knocked in to find how massively deep it was. We were now fighting underwater and this was still gameplay which was amazing. I pull up the menu on my "screen" where I find that I have a dlc item from Super Mario Odyssey which was a big diving suit helmet that apparently would let me breathe underwater. I selected it and expected to be able to not worry about air anymore but that wasn't so. My air meter still went down albeit much more slowly. It was a bummer but my opponent eventually conceded due to needing air and swam back up. When I followed he was gone. Chances are I'll have to fight him again. I began continuing my quest but woke up at that point.
