Swan death

A swan was found on uni campus with multiple fractures to its neck. It was presumed that one of the exchange students did it but no one could be sure. A few eco loving individuals made a watchdog posse to try catch the killer. That night I left alone to try find him and along my path found a live swan. The swan became immediately aggressive and began attacking me.. I retaliated & broke its neck; stuffing it into my bag. A few moments later my friends walked by and I told them I had found another swan dead; affronted, they asked where and I showed them the site of the attack. On the way we found a dead red squirrel and tears were shed.
