Just a Glimpse This is a backlogged dream from November 16, 2018. Glass cubes. Souls locked inside. Some real. Some artificial. Only one of them yours. You have no memory of who you are. Not even vague hints. You and a partner are tossed into a wasteland and told to find your real identity. Your partner unlocks each soul from its cube. You inhabit the soul/body/form. You must decide if this is yours before you’re locked into it forever. You must decide if it is real. If it is artificial. If it is right. You must abandon those that are wrong, and return to a formless state while your partner hunts for more glass cubes. The two of you think you’re gathering hints and clues, but in the end the right soul is nothing like any of the things you’ve been pursuing. Questions of its authenticity and the nature of identity arise. Shapeshifters whose eyes have symbols of their animal forms. They have very specific psychic powers, based on colors. They live together in the same base when they’re not searching for their partner souls in a competitive arena. They also must find their true colors for their psychic powers to be at their most powerful, and learn which other shapeshifters bring out that power in them. A raven and a wolf keep almost realizing they’re good for each other and then having other shapeshifters cast doubt. The wolf is close to finding his partner’s soul. The raven is not, but gets closer when he is with the wolf. The wolf is named Hakurou.
