Have you ever had a conversation with yourself?

So this is from a lucid dream I had a long time ago where I went to the mirror and had a conversation with my reflection. But it wasnt a real reflection of me but like an older version of myself that just kept smiling while talking to me. I just dont remember what he (or I) told me. But I was very emotional when I woke up the next morning. It was hella trippy and I just wish to remember what we talked about... Have you ever had a conversation with your unconsciousness in a lucid dream and how was it? Or are you considering to do it the next time you are lucid?
